Shoreline Brewery and Lubeznik Center for the Arts are teaming up to create #GivingBrewsDay, a homegrown, Michigan City way of celebrating #GivingTuesday, the annual global day of giving.

From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Nov. 28, Shoreline will offer a special dish created by Executive Chef Barry Smith. A portion of the proceeds from every plate sold will be donated to the LCA to support the center’s all-ages arts programing and exhibitions.

Participants making a special donation of $20 or more can also have a chance to win a brew tour ($100 value) for themselves and three friends. The tour includes a behind-the-scenes walk through each step of the brewing process with Brewmaster Jim Knight to see how some of Northwest Indiana’s favorite beers are made, and includes a free tasting.
